How should I eat it?
Dealers choice! A few of our favorite ways to eat it are:
Hand ripped in the car on the way home
Toasted in a pan or toaster oven (butter optional)
Reheated slowly in an oven
Sliced thick and grilled with olive oil/salt/pepper *personal fav!
However you want to enjoy it is up to you!
How should I store it?
We recommend you store it in a loose cellophane (or whichever bag it came it). It can also be covered with a cotton towel and left on the counter for a day few days. cotton bread bags are also a great option for storage.
Inclusion loaves that contain dairy or meat products can be stored in the above method. However, if soft cheese are used in the bread, they should be kept in the refrigerator or in a very cool/dry storage area.
How long will my bread last?
A classic loaf with no inclusions will last around a week if stored properly. Inclusion loaves may vary depending on what was added in the inclusion. After a few days (if it lasts that long) the bread should be visually checked for any signs of mold. Don’t forget, your bread is preservative free!
Can I freeze my bread?
Absolutely, frozen bread is a fantastic option. Perfect for when you need bread in a pinch. It can be individually sliced and frozen. This option is good for just a slice or two.
Optionally, entire or half loaves can be frozen whole. The loaves should be removed from the freezer and soaked under running tap water for a few seconds and placed directly into a 350 Fahrenheit oven for ~25 minutes or until desired doneness.
